Town Run Watershed continues its E. coli testing program at public access points along Town Run, and we post our provisional results here as they come in.

We work with two partners: the Upper Potomac Riverkeeper, whose certified laboratory at Hood College tests our samples, and The Downstream Project’s WaterWatch*, a digital platform for collecting, managing and visualizing water quality data.

Each result on the map below is a snapshot of the E. coli concentration, and other tested parameters, at that site on the date and time the sample was collected, under the conditions at that moment. Green markers meet the program’s working standard of 410 MPN/100 mL; red markers exceed it.
