Morgan’s Grove Park is both an important community gathering space, a historic site, and a sensitive environmental landscape shaped by spring-fed drainage, shallow groundwater, and the Town Run watershed. Prepared for the Shepherdstown Community Club under the Chesapeake Bay Trust Green Streets, Green Jobs, Green Towns (G3) Track 1 program, the Green Infrastructure Concept Plan uses green infrastructure and stormwater management as organizing tools for park stewardship. This Concept Plan provides an environmental planning framework to guide future park improvements in a way that protects natural resources while supporting long-term community
use.
