Join the Town Run Watershed, Moms Clean Air Force, and the Shepherdstown Opera House for a powerful evening of environmental awareness and community action with a free screening of the award-winning documentary Single-Use Planet.
Narrated by Peter Coyote, this engaging and thought-provoking film weaves animation, music, and expert insights to explore the links between public health, plastics production, and policy. While plastic plays a crucial role in modern life, Single-Use Planet takes us upstream to uncover the startling truth behind single-use plastic pollution and the myth of recycling.
The screening will include:
Subtitled film for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
A short presentation and audience discussion following the film
Optional donations at the door
This event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited, and reservations are strongly encouraged.
Doors open 30 minutes before showtime
Popcorn, candy, soft drinks available for purchase (no outside food or drinks please)
