We had a great time at Earth Day! Thanks to Shepherdstown Community Club for sponsoring this event at Morgan’s Grove Park. Volunteers shared information about the Town Run Watershed with folks of all ages. A big hit was the Stream Cleaner Pinball Game, on loan from our friends at Cacapon Institute. The goal was to keep “pollutant runoff” out of the Chesapeake Bay and filter it through the riparian buffers. We were also able to share information about future activities and the cost-sharing program for septic cleanouts for homeowners in the watershed.
